NES has set itself the goal of making a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions in process engineering. Sustainability and energy efficiency are important factors. It is also important to us to put safety and people first. In addition to the economic consideration of a project, we also attach importance to a qualitative assessment of the environmental influences.
Further and new developments in software technology have significantly changed planning in process engineering in the 21st century. Performance simulation programs enable increasingly precise advance calculations of process engineering systems. Using this new technology and methods, systems can be planned efficiently regarding investment and operating costs. Environmental aspects can also be estimated in advance. NES has decided to embrace and continuously improve the possibilities of the new calculation technology.

Information
Lukas Benda is specialized in technical services and calculations in the field of process engineering. He attended the Technical College for Chemical Engineering in Wels and then attended Vienna University of Technology. In which he completed Bachelors and Masters programme for process engineering. After completing his industrial doctorate at Mondi about black liquor boilers, he established the engineering office Novel Energy Solutions GmbH in 2020 and has been working throughout Europe ever since.

Melanie Kobler supports Lukas in his daily challenges. She holds a degree in economics from the JKU (Johannes Kepler University) in Linz and has been employed at NES since 2023. Since then, she has taken care of all tasks in marketing and internal organization.
